We believe in a "Privacy by Design" approach. Our extension operates entirely locally on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share your chat data, personal information, or browsing history.

Data Processing

1. No Data Collection by Us

We do not operate any servers that collect user data. The extension runs locally in your browser.

  • No Chat Content: We never read, store, or transmit your conversations.
  • No Browsing History: We do not track websites you visit.

2.Data related to Pro Purchases (Freemius)

To manage licenses and payments for our Pro features, we use a third-party service called Freemius.

  • When you purchase a Pro license, your transaction is processed securely by Freemius. We do not have access to your payment data. We may have access to your name and email address solely for license management and support purposes.
  • A small amount of data related to your purchase (such as your license key and installation ID) is stored locally on your machine to verify your Pro status.
  • This data is also sent to Freemius servers for validation purposes.

Freemius acts as the data processor related to your Pro license purchase only. For detailed information on how they handle your data, please refer to their privacy policy at freemius.com/privacy/.

Local Storage

The extension uses your browser's local storage to save your personal settings (like speed presets) and your license activation status. This data remains on your device and is not sent to us.

Security & Direct Connection

  • No Access to Credentials: We do not have access to your ChatGPT login credentials (password, auth tokens). You are logged in directly with OpenAI.
  • Direct Communication: When you use the extension, requests are sent directly from your browser to OpenAI's servers. We do not proxy, intercept, or store your chat data on any external server.

Your Rights

Since we do not store your data, you can "delete" your local data by simply uninstalling the extension.

Under GDPR, you also have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data held by our payment processor, Freemius. Please contact Freemius directly to exercise these rights.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us.

Policy Updates
